Terms of Service.

Welcome to Sovia. By downloading or accessing the Sovia mobile application, visiting our website (soviaapp.com), or utilizing any of our telecom VTU, utility bills, airtime-to-cash, marketplace, dealer, AI, or reward services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please review them carefully before creating an account.

1. Account Registration & Security

To access Sovia services, you must create a verified account linked to your valid mobile phone number and email address. You must be at least 18 years of age (or have the direct consent of a legal parent/guardian) to use our utility and financial tools. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, biometric settings, and 4-digit Transaction PIN. Sovia is not liable for unauthorized access or losses resulting from credential sharing or device compromise.

2. Wallet & Dedicated Virtual Accounts

Sovia provisions dedicated virtual bank accounts through our licensed payment partners (including Monnify) to facilitate instant, zero-fee wallet deposits. All wallet deposits are credited in real-time and must be used for purchasing services within the Sovia ecosystem (Airtime, Data, Electricity Tokens, Cable TV, SIM Marketplace, Advertising) or withdrawn in accordance with standard withdrawal guidelines. We reserve the right to audit transactions to maintain Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) compliance.

3. VTU Deliveries & Instant Refund Guarantee

We provide instant Virtual Top-Up (VTU) fulfillment for data bundles, airtime, and utility bill tokens. Delivery is subject to the stability of upstream telecommunications networks (MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9Mobile) and electricity distribution companies. Sovia operates an automated multi-gateway failover system; if a top-up fails due to an upstream telco gateway error, our system automatically initiates an instant atomic refund of the debited amount directly back to your Sovia wallet.

4. Airtime-to-Cash Conversions

The Airtime-to-Cash service enables users to convert valid telecom network airtime into wallet cash balance. By initiating an airtime conversion, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Conversion exchange rates are governed by market conditions and are transparently presented in the app prior to your confirmation.

• You must transfer the exact airtime amount to our designated merchant phone number strictly following on-screen instructions. Sovia is not liable for airtime sent to incorrect numbers.

• Once verified and credited, airtime-to-cash transactions are final, irreversible, and non-refundable.

5. Promote Hub, Creator Jobs & Rewards Integrity

Sovia provides a rewards portal and advertising platform where users can earn rewards for completing verified actions. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against fraudulent behavior. Uploading fabricated, edited, or unrelated proof screenshots, deploying automation bots/scripts, or manipulating referral trees will result in immediate and permanent account termination, device-level blacklisting, and the forfeiture of all associated wallet balances.

6. Intellectual Property & Developer API

All intellectual property rights, trademarks, software code, logos, and UI designs belong exclusively to Sovia Technologies. Developers and dealers utilizing the Sovia REST API must comply with fair-use rate limits. We reserve the right to revoke API keys and terminate merchant accounts in cases of abusive traffic, attempted reverse engineering, or integration with unlawful platforms.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sovia and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we maintain a 99.99% multi-gateway uptime infrastructure, we make no explicit warranty regarding upstream telco carrier maintenance. In any dispute, our maximum liability is strictly limited to the specific transaction value in question.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the application shall be resolved first through good-faith mutual negotiation and, failing that, under the competent courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
